My name is Gilbert Chun, and I’m a U.S. Navy–trained Electronics Technician with hands-on experience supporting mission-critical systems in demanding operational environments. After the Navy, I transitioned into industrial field service, working across Texas and surrounding states on automation equipment, packaging machinery, conveyor systems, and low-voltage controls.

Over the years, I’ve supported a wide variety of equipment — including Ishida multi-head weighers, Triangle baggers, automated packaging systems, conveyors, motors, sensors, VFDs, servo drives, and control panels. This background gives me a clear understanding of how upstream and downstream processes rely on each other — and how a single failure can impact the entire production line.

I founded Gilbert Chun Automation & Engineering to provide facilities with dependable, on-site technical support — whether it’s emergency response, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, or temporary technician coverage when internal staff are unavailable. My approach is simple: diagnose quickly, replace components correctly, communicate clearly, and restore full operational capability with minimal downtime.
